Wales’ education minister has appealed to those classed as “key workers” entitled to childcare to “think very carefully” before sending their children to school. Children should only be sent into school if there is “no other alternative". "Children are best kept at home at this time". "We need to keep the numbers [at school] as low as possible, and parents should do all that they can to care for their children at home and only use these facilities as a last resort".
