Teamwork!
Outdoor Learning Week! We took our knowledge from recent maths lessons outdoors to find the area and perimeter of a range of materials. We then used this to design a den large enough to hold us all in! Thankfully, the wind was no match for the fantastic team work!
We’ve have been enjoying using our new outdoor area to help us reflect and peer assess our work. Having a chance to read through each other’s work gives us aspiration to improve and uses teamwork to help get us where we want to be.
Our context and numeracy lessons merged this week. We were exploring the area and perimeter of Len and Jimmy’s mining routes and the mines in which they worked.
