In Progression Step 2 this term we are focusing on Science and Technology alongside Expressive Arts and Maths and Numeracy. Our topic is based upon the story 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' by Roald Dahl. We will be exploring how the properties of materials have changed as well as the chocolate making process. We will be taking the children to Cadbury World to explore this process first hand.

If you arrive before 8:20am please wait in the playground. Staff from the class will collect your child when it is time to come into school. If you arrive after this time an adult will be ready to collect your child from you or as you pass through the gates. Please do not linger in this area; staff will supervise the children when they are taking off their coats and coming into the classroom.

Weaving in Year 3
In our first few weeks in Year 3 we have been discussing our 4 core values: Respect, Aspiration, Teamwork and Equity. We worked as a team to create a human marble run and get a tennis ball from one side of the playground to the other.
