Applying for a Place in Reception - September 2025

Bishop Childs Church in Wales Primary is part of Cardiff Council's coordinated admissions.

To apply for a place for your child in our September 2025 Reception class, please follow the link below and log into the admissions portal.  You will be asked to list school's in order of preference.  Placing Bishop Childs at the top of your list may improve your chances of being awarded a place.

If you would like to submit a faith reference to support your application, please send this directly to the school.

We are a happy and diverse school family.  We welcome applications from families of all faiths and of no faith.

Although it is not essential to provide a reference from your faith leader, if you are able to do so, it will support your application. 

Please ask the relevant person at your place of worship to complete the form below and

return it to the school.
