Autumn 2026 - Progress Step 2 - Curriculum on a Page
We created dragon dens where all the emotion dragons could feel welcome and like they belong.
This week, we have been reading the story of ‘Daisy’s Dragons’ and exploring all the different emotions. We have been using our drama skills to act out Daisy’s emotion dragons, changing our facial expressions and body language to show how each emotion might look and feel.
Here are some of our construction inventions from this week, created using our teamwork skills.
Place Value : Partitioning numbers using a part- whole model
We’ve been learning to count in tens using a washing line and songs to help us.
We have been creating our class charter and discussing what teamwork looks like in our classroom.
We created place value monsters using our maths resources.
