Distance Learning

We have set up a support email account for any questions and queries regarding our remote learning provision: support@bishopchildsprm.co.uk.  This service must not be used for any other communication purposes.

House Points

We will be now awarding house points via j2stars on Hwb. To access j2stars, login to Hwb, click on Just2easy and then on j2stars.

Everyone has been given their own avatar character with their name on. Your avatar has been colour coded to your house colour. Please do not change the colour. You can change your avatar in other ways though. Click on the pencil icon and then you’ll be able to change your avatar’s body, hat, eyes and mouth. Don’t forget to press save!

When you are awarded a house point, the number in the star will go up. You’ll also see a list under the the star, that will tell you the reason you were given a house point and by which member of staff.

At the end of this term, all house points will be counted up from each class and the winning team will be announced. Good luck and keep up the hard work!

If your are unsure of your Hwb accounts details, please email support@bishopchildsprm.co.uk and they will be sent to you.

Congratulations, Ava - a well deserved certificate!

Hannah has had a very busy week at home, helping to prepare for her sister's tropical themed birthday party. She helped make everything that you can see in the pictures - even the cake! Well done, Hannah!

Origami whales!

Some excellent drawings of different parts of the story, 'Sammy Spider's First Shabbat'.

Year 1 created their own pixies and made fact files to tell me about them. I am pleased that they don't seem quite as mischievous as Pippety Skycap!

This week, Year 1 made new homes for Pippety Skycap to live in, as he was fed up of living in the corner of a cupboard...

Our art project this week was to draw some of the characters from our story, 'Pippety Skycap'.

Year 1 have been learning about Judaism. This week, we made our own Torah scrolls with our own important rules.

Ava is feeling very proud of herself for receiving her 2nd place certificate for all of her well earned house points last term. Congratulations!

I really enjoyed looking through all of the pictures of rainbows this week. Lovely ideas, Year 1!

Year 1's Outdoor Classroom project - making faces using resources found in the garden. Some very creative ideas!

Year 1 have been working hard on their self-portraits.

Year 1 have been practising their drawing skills this week, using different techniques to draw all kinds of animals. A great effort!

A huge ‘da iawn’ to everyone who learnt the Welsh poem for the recitation competition. Congratulations to those who were chosen to represent their houses - you performed brilliantly!

Year 1 looking fantastic in their Christmas play costumes!

An interesting afternoon learning about Bonfire Night and making our own firework pictures.

Year 1 practised making patterns by designing and making their own bracelets.

Year 1 had a great trip to St Fagans. We made our own peg dolls, visited a blacksmith's workshop and explored the Victorian cottages. A very wet, but exciting, day!

Year 1 had an excellent morning learning about what happens during a Baptism.

Year 1 practising their measuring skills outdoors.

We had a great afternoon following instructions to make our jam sandwiches. They tasted great!

A 'Playing Safe' lesson with two local policemen.

A great first day in our new classroom!
