Important information:

PE sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday. The children will need to wear their yellow PE t-shirt and black shorts/leggings/joggers. They will also need a pair of trainers. 

Every child will need a pair of wellies in school so that they can go outside in any weather. 

Formal reading books and homework will not begin straight away but you will receive some optional family tasks to complete together every Wednesday during the first term.

We explored how our school grounds have changed now it’s winter. We found ice, bare trees and evergreen plants like holly. We had to wrap up warm too! Then we made bird feeders to help look after the birds this winter.

A week thinking about houses - We read the 3 little pigs, retold the story, made houses out of wood, straw and bricks as well as duplo and on larger scales and went to have a look at the houses surrounding our school.
