Spring 2021 Topic - We can all be heroes.

The theme this term is based on health and well-being skills.

The teachers have been very busy planning lots of exciting new lessons for you to do around this topic.

Unfortunately we are experiencing another lockdown and you are unable to attend school at the moment. However, we are adapting these lessons so that you can continue to complete them at home.

Every day there will be one literacy lesson and one numeracy lesson. You will be expected to complete both these lessons and turn them in. We will provide a choice of projects for you to complete as you wish throughout the week.

The timetable and all the lessons will be posted on the Goggle classroom.

Mr Williams, Mrs Davies and Mrs Dolphin will take it in turns to be online to support and help you every day.

There will be a teacher available between 9:30 and 11:30 and then 1:30 and 3:30. These are the best times to do your work if you want the teacher to help you.

The teachers will mark your work the day after it has been set and return it to you ( with comments ).

I will post some of your work on the website so that we can celebrate your efforts and achievements. We will continue to have Star of the Week and we will also continue to monitor who has been working throughout the week. The lessons follow the Must, Should and Could structure as before and there will be times when there may be  an additional challenge for you.

Don't forget to use the lleuad@bishopchildprm.co.uk email to share photographs of any work you have completed if you are not able to do it on the classroom document.

We hope to see you soon.

We will be learning how to become ambitious, capable learners through all our learning experiences. There will be lots of opportunities to use our literacy and numeracy skills in all areas of learning, as well as learning new concepts in science through practical investigations.

Our value this half term is Respect and we will be discussing and learning about what this means this in our daily worship as well

as in our RE lessons. We have lots of fun and exciting activities and lessons planned throughout the term.

The times of the day have changed and all the children in our Cwtch need to be in school by 8:50 am so that they can wash their hands and prepared for the first lesson of the day which starts at 8:55 am. There will be break at 10:45 am and the preparations for lunch begin at 12:30 pm. The children will eat their lunch in the classrooms until further notice. At the end of the day the children need to be collected between 2:50 - 3:00 pm. On Thursday the children will leave 1 hour earlier (1:50 pm) and homework (online) will be given out on this day.
